you say the radio works as it should, but you also said that once you put the radio in the cluster went out, that should tell you something. If taking the radio out is too much work for you , goo buy a kia and bolt the hood shut

No, taking the radio out isn't too hard...... its just the 10000000000000th time I have pulled it all out and put it all back in...and it takes forever to get the wide band in there just right ... and .... I have sand in my vagina...and .... and... I just want my guages to work ....

i found out what was wrong with my 99 monte.

the dimmer/headlight switch was fucked up. so it was set to off even tho it was on. so today i took apart the dash. which took forever. and pulled out the headlight switch. played arround with it. tried to figure out what was wrong with it. fucked it up. then went to the junkyard and bought one and put it in :P

i dont know if ur civic is like my monte. but u should check ur headlight switch. i dont remember what a civic headlight switch looks like. and i cant compare ur car to my 87 civic

I had the same problem. You should just pull the head unit and check. Shouldn't be that hard it's your 1000000000000000000000000000th time doing it.

Does your dome light work? When I installed my stereo (although it was an EF), The Accessory(I think thats what it is) Came loose and shorted out, taking the cigarette lighter, Dome light, Cluster lights all out at the same time.... Just a thought.
