GSR swap

If anyone cares, I just went to Tom's foreign auto parts in Waterbury, CT to pick up my S40 tranny and there is a GSR swap they just got there. It has 100k and it looks very complete minus the ECU. The kid told me $2500 for all of it if I wanted it. So If anyone wants it cal and talk to Mik or Al. I would pick it up but I have just boosted the D and don't have the cash. Oh the website is www.toms4n.com but its not listed.

Re:GSR swap

that is a pretty good price. I am looking for a swap but I want to get one a little closer to home. what mods do you have done to youre d series. I just blew mine up tonight. spent 8000 dollars to have it built for 14psi and one of the rods started to knock. talk about being pissed I didn't evn get a chanc to turn the boost up yet. I may have some d series parts for sale after I pull the motor and see what is salvageable. I will make a post later. and let every one know what I have. I beleive Its just a bad rod bearing or the rod itsself. I should have 9:1 pistons act clutch, jun flywheel, pocket ported head, ferrea valves ect. and maybe 3 eagle rods and other misc. parts.
