it did look dumb but i like the directors and there are pretty good actors in the movie so i'll prob see it

I think you hit the nail on the head with that! I will not see a movie that is directed by Quentin Tarantino much less Robert Rodriguez. I think that most people nowadays are impressed with cinematography and forget the movie is supposed to tell a story not just special effects. Hell, if that is what you want you could do acid or shrooms and watch the world around you.
