I vote for a thread delete. Are they selling the raffle tickets to help someone out? ... doesnt sound like it.

---- that. This is general discussion. I'll post whatever the ---- I want. The topic title says it all. If you don't want any part in this then DON'T OPEN THE ------- THREAD. The raffle is being held by a mod who has a shop. Apparently he is doing to help his business. He is an okay guy. One of his distributors is letting the kit go this cheap. You want to talk about hopes and dreams? How about donating to HMT and contacting several people who shall remain nameless about getting that damn sticker and never getting it. I'd rather chip in $10 in the "hopes" winning a turbo kit than $10 for the "dream" of getting an HMT sticker. ::)

Okay maybe not. I donated to this site because of the content not because of the free sticker. I have a feeling everybody would have donated freely even without the offer of the "free sticker". But if you're going to offer it, follow through, damnit. ::steps off soapbox:: Have you ever been to Vegas? Bought a lotter ticket? Same damn thing.

Jesus Christ....why does it have to be like this?

I thought the raffle was a good idea to tell you the truth. It was very creative and it gives people with the dream of having a turbo kit a chance to actually have one. Yes, it is a pre-fab kit, but Egay would eat that ---- up and you would walk away with a pocketful of money to spend on whatever the ---- you want for as little as $1 out of your pocket. If I could get smokin' deals on performance parts, I would have a raffle here. Why not? :-\

Actually a raffle is a good idea, but not if the money is going to some dude and his shop. I like that here on HMT you choose to donate to an exact cause. You don't have to be offered anything to donate. I'll show you guys how a raffle is done, watch this.......... ;)
