You know about the original mass-banning right? I think he's just worried about a new one.

I would suspect everyone is safe now, but who knows. Last mass-banning was after the release of either GOW or Haro 3. I thought they'd do it again this time, if possible, especially with how much GTA4 was pirated.

Personally I'm not going to worry but who knows.

Doug if you swap out my broke 360 for me, I'll let you have the other one to swap O0

Yes I remember the mass banning. It wasn't due to modded consoles, it was due to people who played Halo 3 online before it was released (on modded consoles, but that's not why they were banned)

Don't play a game on Live before it is released and you're fine.

That makes more sense, and it's pretty much common sense to not play a game before it's legally released. I modded a friend's xbox and it was fine, but I heard certain drives weren't a problem. Oh well, I don't plan on playing games in advance online anyway. I was tempted to play halo 2 online when I first got about 10 of them over a week before they were retail, but decided to sell them instead.
