This is a really horrible question and i don't even wanna ask, but how can i tell if my car had VTEC??

but guess what?! in canada sohc vtec motors didn't have that (atleast 2 of the Z6's i owned didn;t)

do you have a vtec solonied? it has a green connector.

wouldn't an easy way be to look at the tach and see where it redlines(assuming it wasn't swapped)

it is a swapped motor. but i took it for a rip today and it sounds like VTEC is kicking in ?? maybe i'm just hoping for it and hearing what i wanna hear?

92 d16z6 engine's look like a non vtec motor from the valve cover.

the vtec solenoin is on the dizzy side of the head, more forward then the dizzy (closer to the exhaust manifold).
