If you have good insurance ie state farm, they will add value to the money you have put into the car and also let you buy it back, and not give it a salvage title. I had the cf hood fly up on my civic crack the windshield, dent the roof. I ended up getting lie a thousand bucks keepiong the car and they said the car was totaled.

something like this happened to one of my neighbours. dumb immigrant ---- ran into a parked jeep that he had just finished building a week before. she had two kids in the car, no lisc, no ins, no money to sue for, so she walks away with a slap on the wrist from johnny policeman and he walks out his front door to see $25k damage to his jeep. people like this should be shot.
