got some bfg drag radials for 100 bucks!

i got these bitches for 100 bucks, he was going to sell me the rims and tires for 150, but the rims are 5 lug :'( either way, still an awesome deal, i was wantin some slicks, but these will hold me over till i have over 300 bucks to fork out. i've never used drag radials, is there a big difference as opposed to street tires? do they even compare to slicks at all?

What are those 15's or 14's?

Thats a pretty good deal man, looks like they still got some decent meat on them. Theres a noticable difference between street tires and drag radials. The key to make them work is to get them nice and hot, otherwise they will react just like street tires.

And no, they arnt like full on slicks.

they're 15's, the guy said he only used them at the track and they only had about 10 passses on them, i figure they'll last until i can afford some slicks. what kind of pressure should i run in them?

i have to wait for shipping, i wish i would have them tomorrow, but i'll have them for next thursday at the track, that actually works out better this is my first time running with my set up at 100%, so i'll get a base run tomorrow, and run with the drag radials next week and see how much time they shave. sweet man, i'll need some rims to throw them on, but they would have to be at least 14" b/c of my brakes.
