Got a question...
Well, I've got myself a predicament. Got into an "accident" with the CRX and I need to replace the passenger side door and the front fender. Now, the CRX I have is a 1989 Honda CRX Si. I was wondering if maybe an 88 or 89 Civic door would fit? Or what, what will fit? I've been scouring local junk yards and they have no CRX's or parts. Can anyone help me? Thanks ???

Re:Got a question...
Good luck on finding those parts in a junkyard, in good condition at least. 88-91 body parts are all the same, I'm not sure about the Civic though.

Re:Got a question...
Yeah I knew that, what I ment to say is that they are all the same in the sence that they are interchangeable. Some things are different but you can still used them.

Re:Got a question...
You need the passenger side door and a fender right?
any 88-91 CRX door and fender will fit. However somethings will be different if you use parts of an 88. Were talking cosmetic, notthing else. The doors off of an 88 dont have the seatbelt attached to them like 90-91 and as for the 89's, well I guess you all ready know. As for the Civic parts, like I said, not sure. |
Re:Got a question...
im 95% positive that a civic door wont fit, the top of it slopes differently

Re:Got a question...
88-89 Fender are different than 90-91 because of the corners. Civic doors are different because they don't curve down like CRX's do. I have a passenger side fender and door from a 90 CRX. If you have seatbelts in your door this will work. Let me know where you're located. These are in great condition. NO DENTS or rust.
