I finally got around to making some charge pipes. There not fully done cause I need two more 90 deg. bends and I should be getting an intercooler when I get paid next friday.

the supra blow off valve, ghetto jb welded. Looks like ---- now but I'm going to paint it flat black projecteg style.



Just a picture of where the pipes are going to go to the intercooler. I have no clue how I'm gonna fit the charge pipes between the bumper and the frame. Gonna have to cut a lot of ---- out of the bumper.

Heres what I used to cut the mandrel bends. Got a metal cutting blade from wal-mart and worked great. STill need a welder.



The dual stage boost controller I'm making, it's just a solenoid off of a civic hooked to a needle valve. Hopefully it will work like I plan.


I still need an intercooler and oil lines, hopefully I'll have it all by next month.

wicked, your front end looks funny, when i took my bumber off it never looked like that. but yeah, you got a link on how to make that 2 step controller!??

Looking good and I am telling you all the food strainer is where it's at. Oh and don't be afraid to hack ---- off your bumper. I hacked for like an hour and it's still rubbing up again my charge piping.

I know there are links out there but it's really quite simple. Just hook up the wastegate as you normally would. then put a -t- in the middle of that line. on the third nipple connect a on/off solenoid. Basically the solenoid opens or closes a passage so the air can flow through it , or not. Then on the other side of the solenoid, connect a boost controller of some sort so you can bleed of some air.

When the solenoid is closed, all of the boost is seen by the wastegate, but when you open it, the boost controller/needle valve, bleeds of some air making the wastegate see less boost. Make sense?

You can find one off of any 4thgen civic/crx. I think most cars have them. On crx's there up by the map sensor.

I thnik this is what jeff did w/ the ls/vtec. He mounted a button on the shift lever to lower boost until he let the button go.

how much was the metal cutting blade? i need to get one. i've been cutting my pipes with a metal cutting wheel on a grinder, but you can't go straight through, you have to go around it and it's hard to get a straight/level edge :P i didn't even think about getting a blade for my circular saw
