Got new slicks (pics inside, 56k i dunno)

Ive been looking to buy slicks since last year and I finally dropped the cash to buy'em. I got M&H 22x8x13 new from Summit for 120 a pop. I always check the clearance rack before I leave, and I found some AERO 13x8 steel wheels for $50 a pair (normal 64 a piece). They had a little ding here and there on the lip only (spun them on the balancer @ work, they spin nice after I found out they are lug centric) but they were 4x4" lug pattern. So I asked one of the guys and he said it would fit a 4x100, he said it would if I had 12mm studs (which it did fit). The only problem was that I even overlooked was backspacing. They have 3" BS, and when I checked to see if they fit on the 4x100, I noticed they stick out a ---- ton. I didnt even mount them after that. So im gonna try to sell them for what I have in them (50 bucks for the pair if anyones interested) and get diamond racing wheels, but Im not sure to what back spacing to get. Im thinking 4.5? or would that hit the spindle? What BS are you guys running w/ 22" slicks? Thanks. Enjoy pics if they work.

CLIFF NOTES: Bought slicks, got wheels for cheap, dont fit right, want to sell for 50/pair. Need help on BS for new wheels.

If pics dont work, tell me where better to host (its on photobucket now) O0

haha, i use to work at a golf course as a cart boy. when it rained we'd take the de-governed car down to the driving range and fly accross the target green towards the hill off the back, right when we got to the edge we'd slam the brakes and spin around backwards and switch it into neutral at the same time, then go flyin down backwards at like 25 or 30 mph.

yeah taht was bitchin O0

oh yeah, that ---- sucks(figured i should say something about the actual post)

Man, I'm going to measure tomorrow and see if I want them. I would prefer 4x100, but we'll see.

Wheels are for sale only, cant return them b/c they are off the bargain rack. I could take the slicks back, but why? Id just like different wheels.

The 4x4" is so close to the 4x100, ill take a pic of it sometime in the next few days. (25.4mm=1" so 4"=101.6mm) It does fit the 4x100, I test fitted on my car, just too wide in my opinion.

you have one set of fingers on one hand (the left hand in this example) then you look to the other hand (the right in this case) and there are different fingers on that hand (the right) than on the original hand (the left).

I know, but being a lug-centric rim, without the proper bolt pattern they will never seat balanced? Ever felt unbalance slicks at 100+mph? SCARY!!!

By lug centric, I mean that when I first put them on the balancer, I just put a cone in the center hole, and the thing wobbled all over the place. Then I decided to use the the apater thingie that had a 4x4" pattern and it spun fine. I also tried using the 4x100 adapter, and it still spun strait. I think if you were to use conical lug nuts (which most do) then you should be fine...Ill try to take some pics of how it sit on the car if anyone is interested in buying them seriously. If not, Im sure I can get 50 bucks on ebay for em.

>TurboDA6- I know they are supposed to stick out, but I think they stick ot too far for me. Id like to tuck them in as far as possible, and i know they will still be out of the fender wells.

BTW, only the wheels are for sale, slicks ARE NOT.
