The lincoln precision TIG 185's sell for rougly $1600.00 shipped or picked up after tax locally. Not a bad price for what they offer, 5-185 amps, pulse and A/C. I considered buying this welder myself until i used a Miller Dynasty 300! sadly though the dynasty's are $5500.00 new.

Really, when using Pulse its not hard to lay nice beads on a TIG.

in 20 hours a monkey could learn to tig weld, if you have a basic understanding of the process you can lay a pretty nice bead with a pulse tig. They are very forgiving machines

, it was around 1800 for everything including the argon bottle and all the steel and aluminum filler rod.

Oh boy... Josh is going to hop on the manifold bandwagon and start selling his own line. Hope you don't follow the shipping 101 guide you posted. haha, just kidding man, sounds like you've got a good piece of equiptment there that could help out quite a bit in fabrication etc. Can't wait to see some pics of it.

Great machine, I've used one many times along with it's big brother the Precision Tig 275 with liquid colled torches. I too lust after a Miller Dynasty though and will hold out until I can afford one. I'm looking forward to seeing these 20 hour beads, are they with filler wire, or without? Congrats on the purchase, you're going to love having a machine like that around.
