Default Got my Lincoln welder..one or two questions...

just wanted to ask some of the guys who've done this to double check my assembly for the working cable, leads and all that...looks good right?? only thing I wasn't able to do was stretch the gun's lead wires through the clear plactic wire loop on the right panel(where the work cable is)..there just wasn't enough slack to do that and still plug them in, so I skipped running them through the loop and the wires are just dangling free, but plugged in to the trigger connection....is that okay to let the wires dangle??-->

other than that its working, plugged it in, got it spooled up to the gun tip and ready to go...just gotta go fill the gas tank.

also, should I teflon paste the tank/gas hose connections?? I'm pretty sure I should

You are OK with those trigger wire hanging like that. I have the same welder and it's been like that ever since I got it from day one. if you still dont' feel safe with that wire like that hanging, just put a wire loom over it. One suggestion, get a bigger C25 gas bottle, once you start welding, it goes pretty quick. It looks like you got a 20 CF tank, you should get a 60 CF or bigger tank.

Everything looks good. Just make sure the wires don't get in the way of the moving parts. (duh)

I'm predicting 3 bottles to get you through the roll bar kit. The most will be used on any plates you are going to weld to the floors. Just take your time, and make nothing perminant (sp?) until you want it perm...god damn it

^^^
Ya no need, fittings are sealed be the pressure vreated on the tip of the fiiting, not on the thread, same reason why you dont use sealer on brake lines.
