I got mine on the 20th

Have another one on backorder for November 10th. There was a glitch in their system that let you order two at the full discount, so I'll have another for $180 in November.

Pre-ordered mine September 23rd right after the press conference before the site kept going down.

You should check out www.androidcommunity.com

Only thing I dislike about the phone is battery life, but I'm sure it'll be resolved in future updates.

Badass phone. Good-bye Windows Mobile.

It's $25 a month for unlimited data + 400 text messages. $35 a month for unlimited messaging and data.

I'm going to attempt dropping back to the T-Zones package for $5.99. It uses the same APN so should still give me unlimited data. Although, at 14.99 for unlimited messaging and 5.99 for data, it isn't really too big of a deal.

You sure u can use the t-zones and still get unlimited data? If so that be cheaper than the 35 a month combo deal. Saving money works for me

It worked on the WinMo phones.

They used to use the APN: wap.voicestream.com and a proxy

Now it's: epc.tmobile.com without a proxy

The new APN worked on WinMo but I dunno if it'd work for this. I'll see if I can change services online and test it out.

Got them in my store today. Its funny, T-mobile 3G its almost no where, and I live close to Ny city. I am thinking of picking one up and unlocking it to put on my at&t plan. BTW the OS is supost to be a open soures type OS, not like the i-phone.

tell us when you tap out the memory on that bitch.... it only comes with like 1 gb right

the only bummer i see with this phone is the lack of memory, which can be fixed with a larger SD card.

also its kinda wack you have to use special head phones...

i have never used the headphones on any cell phone. i dont care about music on it, cuz my ZUNE is probably near by.

something i thought was retarded right off the bat was that you need to "import" all your contacts off your sim card. why wouldnt it just automatically do that?

There is 3G in over 120 cities now and it's growing quite fast (fortunately). A month or two ago it was limited to only 20 cities. Also, you can unlock it and use it for AT&T, if you don't want 3G. It uses an entirely different frequency (uses the AWS band) and will not work with AT&T 3G frequencies.

The OS is open source. They released the source code to the entire OS this week. It weighs in at a whopping 2.1gb.

you have 256mb ROM (reserved for OS) and 192mb RAM. It does come with a 1gb card, but I picked up an 8gb microsd for $25 shipped. There are 16gb cards that will work with it (must be class 4 until there's an update) but they cost around $75. This phone + 8gb memory card comes out to around the same price as the iPhone. The only difference is, there will be a shitton more software and support for this OS, it has a better camera (with mechanical autofocus), and you can even remove the battery or memory!

I do wish they had a 3.5mm jack, but I don't use my phone for music that much either. If I did, I'd use the 80gb 6G Ipod.

If you had a WinMo phone before, go to www.nuevasoft.com. It will sync your contacts to Google over the air. I did this because I sure as ---- am not going to manually put in all those contacts. Also, make sure you turn off the option that automatically adds contacts in Gmail or you're going to end up with a ton of garbage.
