Got My CRX Today
 

1986 CRX Si with 172,000 miles........ picked it up for $290 bucks, little work needed. It wasnt running when we got it, but Johnny quickly got her started up. The car has been sitting for two years, the fuel pump was hanging loose and got a hole in it. The guy noticed it leaking and just let it sit at his brothers in Castle Rock, WA. For now Johnny and I put a temp patch on it. The front tires were flat, they seem to be holding air ok now but there is a big bubble on the sidewall of one. I have pretty good tires on the Accord I wrecked, should be able to switch them over ok. There really isnt anything wrong with the car, happy with it. Believe a snake was living in it for the past two years, found a skin and some broken egg shells. Its all cleaned up now (outside), lookin pretty good. Best part of it is that my dad will pay for any parts I need. ;D

Its a really cool little car though, can't wait to drive it around. :) and a big thanks to Johnny for getting so wet doing a lot of the cleanin :-*

yeah its in pretty good shape, missing the plastics between the front bumper and hood as you can see in one of the pics, but overall it is pretty damn nice.

The Z went on hold sorta for a little bit because a mont ago I crashed the Accord that was my actual car. Since then I have been driving around my mom's bonneville, had to get save money to get something of my own again. Hopefully now I can get some of the other stuff for the Z and start her up soon. :)

ya we towed it home, the guy couldnt get it started but of course i got it runnin, and it runs really good :)

Looks like it has minimal exterior rust.

basically it started spinning, couldnt get out of it.... in the middle of a 540 rotation it hit a pole..............whole body is twisted, but I came out ok at least

Johnny tighted the battery cables and gave it a jump..... the guy said he tried starting it yesterday and couldnt get it to turn over heh

ya, the guy had the oil cap off so i had to pick out peices of trees and leaves out of the head, but other than that some oil and a jump :p

the fuel pump came loose from its holding on the frame, it was bouncing up and dwon for god knows how long and finally wore a hole in it, so it leaks. i put some quick steel over it, but still drips. needs a new fuel pump... $130 :o

I have a stock pump that works perfectly fine that i'll sell for $20 plus shipping or I'll sell you a direct bolt in 255 Walbro that works fine...i only used it for 2 months.

yeah, I know the ones on the front are ugly :( hopefully I can find some to match the back


love the car though, drove it around a little last night with the temp patch on the fuel pump... so much fun ;D

Nice car leann, I think after johnny blows your motor we can install a fresh d16a1 and do a hmt setup on it =)
