Toys, PA doesn't have a contractor license. Or at least there isn't one on the PA state site applet where you can search all state licensed professions. No Helgermans are licensed in PA for anything listed.

File for unemployment and/or workman's compensation with the state. It wont help you get your money, but it could possibly result in an audit and heavy fines if he has been in the practice of hiring people under the table without workman's comp. Depending on how long they've done it for, it could kill his business.

in reality i worked about 12 hours a little over a week, but i got fucked over SOO many times on 'oh they cancelled' ----, wasting more time and gas than what i would have been paid for. two hour round trip job to meet the guy for work, plus 30mi each way was a pain in the ------- ***, it was more like an entire paycheck owed to me for the time i spent top not get paid
i know i know, 'what the ---- are you crying for you barely worked' NOT THE ------- POINT
i worked, was promised pay. did not get paid, and it was almost a month before he decided to tell me his side of the story, yet he could not look in his phone to get my number, or his phone records, OR his ------- emails containing my number
and CRMB i'm already on unemployment, i have bills/insurance to pay and it's gotta come from somewhere, local places are cutting jobs from every level of employment in their companies
