Anyway, he put on a suit, pointed out he was actually a nice middle class boy and got 50hrs of community service and a fine. The court makes prejudicial judgements on whether they think your poor, because poor people can't pay fines and generally make up a larger percentage of offenders.

I've had it myself, 55 in a 30 and they let me off with a rectification notice for a broken indicator bulb, because I was pleasant and apologetic when pulled over. If i were black, i reckon i'd have got a fine. I don't care anymore, my mates just become a barrister and my aunt has just become a magistrate.

You're cool with me too, and yes we are. You say that a white male will normally get a 3 month sentence for a crime that a black male will receive 4 years for committing. If a white male goes to court with 8 previous charges and $5000 dollars cash in hand or towards a respected & CONNECTED lawyer, and a black male goes to court with the same amount of charges and for the same crime with NO money towards his fines or for a respected and CONNECTED lawyer, the black male, WILL INDEED, receive a STIFFER sentence. If the same two men go before a judge but this time the black male is in posession of $5k worth of funds or legal representation, the white male WILL INDEED receive a stiffer sentence. In the courtrooms of the United States, MONEY TALKS. BULLSHIT, and SKIN COLOR whether it is WHITE OR BLACK walks. Throw a female(OF ANY COLOR)into that mix with 2 or 3 kids she has legal custody of and the result might STILL be altogher different.

You cannot compare your speeding violations with crimes such as assault and battery, theft of any type, or possesion of any type of controlled substance(ALCHOHOL or NARCOTIC). A MAJORITY of young BLACK males in this country are charged with crimes of this nature. WITHOUT THE POSESSION of large amounts of financial funds or legal representation they are MUCH MORE LIKELY to receive a stiffer and LONGER SENTENCE....ESPECIALLY when they are REPEAT OFFENDERS. A young white male convicted of these types of crimes(I was always more prone to find trouble in the controlled substance statutes) will ALSO receive a STIFF and LENGTHY sentence of incarceration....WITHOUT THE POSESSION of large amounts of financial funds or legal representation. White people tend to position themselves in a more beneficial position in case this type of monkeywrench is thrown into their proverbial gearbox...DRUG DEALERS and SUCCESSFUL(if that's what you want to call it )CAREER CRIMINALS of both BLACK and WHITE gender tend to do the same, because they're occupation allows it, IF they are responsible and INTELLIGENT with the fruits of their labor .
