Re: Got the fmic installed in the hyundai accent....
I havent gotten on a dyno so Im not sure about #'s..... Nothing major though maybe 200whp car weights around 2100 pounds. Engine is a little 1.5 (later swapping in the built 1.5 in the shed ready for about 25psi versus the 11 Im running now).

Re: Got the fmic installed in the hyundai accent....
i dunno about 200whp but how much of the built motor do you have done?

Re: Got the fmic installed in the hyundai accent....
Turbo pistons, shot peened rods, the pistons were for a 7 to 1 ratio the deck has been milled to raise it to 8 to 1 and the head as been port and polished I plan on a 3 angle valve job to go with it as well.

Re: Got the fmic installed in the hyundai accent....
I use to have that engine in my 94 hyundai scoupe it sucked

Re: Got the fmic installed in the hyundai accent....
LOL they hyundai scoupe had a bit older 1.5 model. Most of them were carb'd. Even the boosted scoupe's had no intercooler and very low power. They had a distributor as well. Neways the 1.5's in the 95-99 accent have been shown to handle a good bit of boost with stock internals... People have 14-15psi daily driver stock internals with no problems. I wouldnt say it sucks ::)

Cool project looks like a pretty clean setup.Nice to see some variety around here and dont worry about the mad tyte Honda racers the majority of us appreciate any car turbo weather its a Hyundai or a Audi.

Re: Got the fmic installed in the hyundai accent....
Thanks guys I plan on getting some dyno #'s , I hope next weekend. While the car doesnt output massive hp #'s these little 1.5s are torque monsters. I post up the #'s when I get them :6
