I was watching it to get for the starting price but when I got drunk I started thinking that someone will wait till the last minute like me and bid big, and I really need a head, so I said ---- it. and buy it already paid for it.

do you guys think I made a mistake? or will this head be usefull in putting me to 450whp?
the main thing I was looking at was that it was milled .40 thousandts but to think about about it my current head was milled .30 thousandts, and I did not have a problem, plus I was getting ready to mill it again to get a sealing surface.
another thing I was looking at, is that the springs have been shimmed to spring height for skunk 2 stage 3 cams. did some research to find out what that mean, and found out it was ok to use it with stock GSR cams, but if I dont want it I can always take the shims out, I think I am gonna keep them in it.
I posted a question on H-T but I forgot that if you dont have high hp numbers or full race in your title no one will look at your post, so I change it ;D then I got a lot of views but still no answer, I was so fucked up man.
the good thing is I have no hangover. man I was tripping.

That head should be fine. hopefully it was ported by a good company.. stock heads are also perfect for 450 whp... Just make sure you have cam gears on it and you adjust for the 40thou being off the head.

thats a good price if everything is in order. i suggest you ask a hmt member local in florida to go check and make sure the head he sends you is the one you paid for. if it was in washington i'd do it for you.

do you always buy stuff when your drunk ;D. lol hopefully you get what you paid for pictures looked nice. good luck i never have good luck buying stuff from people over the internet. they always find someway to screw me over. :3

I have adjustable gears, what do you mean? should I retard the cams? I dont think it will be a isssue with the piston to valve clearance. I also plan to anvance the intake cam about up to 6 degreese to see if I can make some power from the gsr cams.
let me know what you suggest.

I called the guy this morning, he seem to know a lot about the head, and so on, he said he will throw some extras in the box, because he is getting out of the racing scene. he said the head was used on a high compression 14.5 b20 block thats high.
I hope this head will give me some head performance

I needed a head since mines need some repairs, and cam caps damaged, could not find any, and everyone want over $500 for the stock ones, so I figured that was a good deal since all the work that was done worth 4 b16 heads, I will repair and sell mine, or sell it as it is so it would basically pay half its cost, my head also have titaniun retainer and springs.

not really! but I was undecided, because I had about 20 choices mostly stock ones with similar prices, so being drunk help me decide quicker, and I think I made a good choice.

In my experience buying built heads off eBay is not a good idea. Good luck.

99% of the time buying ANYTHING off egay is a bad idea. :-\

not really! I am a good ebay seller and I usually trust sellers who know what they are selling. unlike the ones who love to label everything as jdm type r. if you know what you are buying you should nothing to worry about, rice parts are very decieving, and people like ss auto who false advertised. but know what you want and the seller knows what he has usually worked out good.
