Its the weather stripping in the rear wheel wells, Only thing I know of to fix it is to cut out all the old rust and weld in new metal or build a panel out of fiber glass.

Hope you can get the CRX a beautiful car agian i almost bought a 85 crx but the engine in it wasnt that great and the guy wanted $900 for it so i passed it up

Good god why an 85? Yeah it's the 1st gen and super light but those things are nasty looking. That crx looks like everything around here. It's impossible to find a crx in WI without rust.
