Re: Got arrested for street racing..
Better off, consult with a lawyer, all good lawyers give you a free consultation and accept all payments at the END of your case. Yes, yes, yes I know a lot of you including myself have given lawyers down payments and continuation payments, its all, "unethical," on his behalf. If a lawyer asks for payment before the end of your trial, find a new one, theres tons out there.

Yeah I would get a lawyer. Sound like they don't know for sure it was you. If they did and you ran it would be fleeing and you would be slapped with a felony. Hopefully your dumbass didn't admit to anything already.

Re: Got arrested for street racing..
i got caught street racing in California in the county of orange.
they towed my srt-4and kept it for 1 month. Costed me $1200 after tow at $35 a day for 30 days (FUCKEN RIPOFF!!). i went to court and the judge flat out said this, "this is your first offense a misdemeanors, if you plea guilty now i won't suspend your license and you'll only have to pay $1150 dollar fine. you'll have a major point in your record, it stays there for 7 years or you can plead not guilty and fight this in court. you are entitled to pick either option. it's up to you, but the first option is me being lienant. I need to know right now what you want to do."
i opted to plead guilty as they caught both of us. and i didn't have enough money to get a lawyer after paying the monthly payments of my car, insurance and the total cost to pull my car out of the impound. also i needed my job as it was quite a drive away and have no way of taking a buss as they don't go through that route. if my license was suspend i would be totally FUCKED.
i had to fork over my tax return to pay it off completely. now im fucked in any one of my insurance policy's... a speed contest is considered reckless driving.. insurance company don't like that.
good luck man on your option.. i learned my lesson. i won't do it again.. not to mention you just raised the premium on everybody's statistic on your particular Honda at your particular age group.
plz tell me you don't have a EG hatch??
