First gen CRX's are the ----. I got a chance to drive an 87 Si one time, it was ****. I almost bought it but I held out and got my 91 HF instead.
Post some pics of that beast up. I'd like to get a 1g just for a daily driver, they're badass.

a few days ago, i was driving my buddies SC Cougar, and i seen a blue flash in my rear view mirror, and then i heard a loud pSHHHHHHHHHH, well, me being smart, it came to my attention that a 1g CRX wanted to play, but he was boosted, so we pulled over and talked for a bit. He's running 6 psi on the d14 or w.e engine is in the 1g. but god dam, that thing rips so dam hard, for how light it is, he can rip up lots of cars unexpectadly.

sweeet, yeah i love the 1g. I got a 1g hf with a 89 d16a1 blacktop. the stock motor was shot so i swapped in full 89 teg harness and did away with all the non-essential heater/ac/interoir bits and peices. I'm plannin boost soon.
Oh yeah the stock motor is the ew series, and in 86 they changed the name to d15 its a sohc 1.5l 12v motor in the si, and a carbed soch 12v cvcc motor in the dx and 8v cvcc in the hf.
the si weighs in at 1980lbs dx is mid 1800s and the hf is 1713 factory.

It weighed in at 1940 lbs.
My 86 si weighed in at 2040 with the same setup.
FYI...i have 87 prelude seats which are a whole lot heavier than the hf seats. I also have 91 crx si wheels on there because the really light hf wheels are too small.
