Got the 4AGZE in....

Got the motor installed!

Few minutes with Castrol's cleaning agent:

Motor ready to go in...

Almost...

There!

Had to remove the motor because I thought I needed to change the LH mount bracket...but I didn't

Need to trim the AE101 radiator (in back) tomorrow as it doesn't fit :(

Still got quite a bit to do. Need to figure out what I'm gonna do with radiator. Then I need to do the wiring...

You put your valve cover on backwords. And to top that, how did you get a toyota valve cover on a H22? ???

Oh man..I'm gonna have to explain that for the rest of this car's life. Nothing can bout done about the valve covers. The motor originated in the MR2, so the covers were right at one point. But, through the generations, Toyota was too lazy to fix 'em. (Btw, there's 4 generations of the 4AGZE, we got the crappy 1st gen (AFM/Dizzy) and I got the 4th gen (MAP/DLI)).

H22? I don't think so ;)

Haha, I was going to say something stupid like that.

That Castol cleaner is some crazy ----. I no longer have fingerprints because of that ----. :o

Looks like you did the same thing I did today. :) Wanna race?

Oh! It's on like Donkey Kong!

You can see the Castrol stuff in the 3rd pic. I diluted it with water. Amazing how it just dissolves grease!

Either I'm too tired and easily susceptible to being overwhelmed...but I'm not sure what the hell to do next.

Yeah, that motor looks a bit more involved than your typical SOHC Honda motor.

I used 4 cans of AutoZone degreaser and then switched to the Castrol and it smoked through that grease like nothing. I love that ----. :)
