Good news: Got a job, Bad news: Need a motor....
well i got a job with PennDOT so i'll be traveling and haven't had time to go home and work on the blown motor. i'm only going to be going home 1 or 2 more weekends so i don't have time to ---- around with that. i'm thinking of gettin a z6 and just throwing it in until i can rebuild the zc.
I'm thinking of this as temporary so the best deal i've found is a z6 with 101k for $450. there's another one with 70k for $600 but i think it's more than i want to spend. what do you guys think i should do? anyone wanna help me out........not a piece of ---- either..ha. |

88-91 SOHC ZC longblock Price: $ 390.00 Plus shipping http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30018 or...a d15b D15B SOHC VTEC Longblock Price: $ 435.00 Plus shipping http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30019 or contact www.noyanusa.com and see how much they want for a motor. -a local shop here gets $400 for a sohc zc, or a d15b, no cost for shipping. check your local shops. if you just want something to hold you over, why not just go buy a cheap d15 from a wrecking yard or some ----. |
Re: Good news: Got a job, Bad news: Need a motor....
problem is don't really wanna make this a project nor do i wanna fork out money for shipping. also need it by this weekend so i can pretty much finish it up.
there are also really no quality shops around here. most of the d15 are the same price as the z6 anyway so i figured i'd just go with that. anyone know any good yards in and around pittsburgh pa? heard there were some up in kittaning |
