Does anyone know of any good yards to scavenge for honda parts in the Miami area? I need a p28 and some other random stuff and i'm hoping to save some $$ by goin to a yard. Most of the places I've been to have crap. I know there's plenty in hialeah, but I can't seem to find any with lots of jap cars or cars made after 1990.

only 2 u pick junk yards i know of in miami suck. there is one off south river drive and the 826. there is also one in broward on us441.

there are tons of other junk yards but you dont get to actaully go take your part off the car and they are overpriced as hell. there is also honda specialist in miami. its a honda only junk yard, but for a junk yard they are pretty pricey.

I've gone to the ones on South River Dr. The U pick there didn't have anything newer than 1990, that was a few years ago when i had my 5th gen civic.

I normally go to the one off of the parking lot, errr Palmetto, at 74th St. But good luck finding a good P28 there. Pretty much as stated all of the yards around here are barren and over priced if they have anything.

I tried car-part, they only had 2 p28's listed and they were both > $200. I know that can't be right.

there are like 30 junk yards all in one row.

didn't realize there were this many folks on here from the Miami area... Gonna have to check out the 27th and 135, I need to find some new pickins...
