Re:good deal???
Dude that's more than most of us on here paid for our whole turbo kit. Just read the forums, tech/turbo projects, FAQ and do it yourself. Just do a little research and get a buddy that knows how to turn a wrench to help you.

Re:good deal???
Here read this is not complete but will give you more of an idea on how the system works and goes together
http://www.cse.uconn.edu/~yelevich/turbo/turbo.html It's a pretty good write-up on how a honda turbo system works, It's writen for a B-series, but it's exactly the same for a d series. Now you have a d17 so it might be a little different from what most of us have here, pretty much d16's, so keep reading and researching. Now if that shop said $1500 for everything including the rest of the parts you need, I think it's a pretty good price. You could still save some $$$ doing it HMT style |
Re:good deal???
I was assuming he already had all the parts and they were just charging him for labor...
|
Re:good deal???
Where do you live? I'll do it for $1,000
|
Re:good deal???
if that was just for labor u should blow the place up...
it depends what it includes, its higher then a HMT kit, but its not aweful |
Re:good deal???
damn that is exspensive. I dude i know name mike is willing to have me pay him 600 dollars just to put in the kit i made for myself.
