good brake pads and rotors for a CRX?

ok i want to upgrade my front brakes (i remember someone said he rears dont do much) because when im in my crx and i slam my brakes at around 35mph IT SLIDES LIKE A ----------ER! yah i had i bad experience today, i sware to god i was 2 inchs from the assholes bumper! anyway its not like this in any other car ive driven, does your crx do the same? so my question is how can i improve my cars stopping distance? and about the price, just keep in mind were on HMT ;D

powerslot rotors and hawk pads. I would upgrade to bigger integra rotors though.

bigger rotors arnt going to make you stop any faster. if you can lock the wheels up diffrent brakes wont help. bigger brakes do give you more control over breaking and stay cooler do to there being more surface area . in any car with out antilock brakes its going to slide if you slam the breaks on.... cheepest fix is just paying attention. or try to maintain proper distance. because if you did hit him you would have been at fault

if the tires locked and you slid, your brakes weren't your downfall, it was a combination of your use of them and tire quality.

abs owns me.

Ya, because you weren't paying attention and your brakes are good enough to lock the fronts you need to upgrade your brakes. I say invest that money into ADD medication.

if your fronts slide real easy at slower speeds and you dont stop worth ----, your rears might not be working.

hmmm, to make a long story short, last month or so my + battery terminal melted to my charge pipes and my car shut down and my brakes took a ---- fit and "locked" if you will when i touched them...after i got the car started agian i had no brake pressure for about 2 days, i didnt do anything to them the pressure came back the next day ??? BUT they havent been the same since :-\ how can i test the rear drums??

bleed the lines in the rear see if fluid comes out. dont spray yourself in the eyes cause that ---- stings. take the drums apart and check the pads and ----. its not real hard

huh? if you bleed the lines of course fluid is going to come out :P . i think you mean for him to check if there is air in the lines. as far as the eye part, that ---- stings anywhere. if you get that ---- on your hand and forget to wash them IMMEDIATELY after you finish, they start going numb.

I have 4 wheel ABS and I can still lock the wheels up. ??? I think something is fucked up? I had a shitty vibration after testing that theory out.........

Back brakes, believe it or not, play a big role in your braking. Adjust your rear brakes to where they're supposed to be and tell me they don't do much.

No hes right, if you dont get a good spray when your bleeding, you dont have any presure there, could be a bad master or a shuttled over proportioning valve.
