proper surface prep is by far THE most important part of painting, skip a step and your ---- isnt going to stick at all..

i'd have to say layin on the paint is the easiest part.. i work at a body shop in the sheetmetel and frame area i enjoy that ---- more since i hate sanding and masking and cleaning all that ---- for prep.

lowerit, i need some updates on the GRM 2008 challenge car. When is that going down, and what are your plans for the car again? You had a thread on here somewhere didn't you? Sorry to threadjack there chris

The current issue of HOT ROD magazine has a article on painting on a budget. A lot of the car mags just covered this.
