Re: Good AB exercises?

Bicycles are the ---- for Abs. You'll start to feel the burn only 15 seconds in. Just go till failure. Compund sets are good too. My routine goes: bicycle to failure, 40 crunches, 40 leg lifts, and then sideways crunches for the love handles (40/side). I do 3 sets of that and am sore for 2 days. I do it 3 times a week now, but used to do it every night. Hanging leg lifts work great for the lower abs too. I want my damn 6 pack back too! I'm about to finish quitting my smoking, so then I'll be able to do aerobic exercise which is truly the best way to get ripped abs lol. I'm gonna go for 2 mile run tonight to start things off. Hopefully the cilia in my lungs isn't paralyzed from smoking anymore and some of my lung efficiency has already returned. I have a badass Ellsworth road bike that I want to eventually race, so this should be a good first step.

Yeah the BMI was made up by some european guy who wasnt a doctor in like 1780 or something. It is a pretty garbage formula really for medical use.

The abs thing is pretty much all fat content. Everyone has abs, it is just seeing them that make the 6-pack. If you are thin enough to see them then you can look at core exercises. Hit up the cable machine, that is good.
