going to japan...
I hope im not jinx'n myself....
but I just went and talked to the "career planner" and she said, me going, that it would be very easy to do. the hard part will be gettin my job changed. I guess, if nothing else, i will keep my job as a radio operator (im the guy with the radio on my back, with the antenna in all of the movies) anyways, she said it could be done easily.
I have an appointment tommorow at 110 to "submit my package" and once that gets approved, then i will recieve orders and everything will go from there....
but everything looks really really positive right now.

Re:going to japan...
my wife and i are really really excited about going.
-she wants a land cruiser or a 4 runner. we want to out fit it with GPS and a roof rack, and all that good ----, and tour japan with it...go wonder the moutains...camp, hike, take lots of pictures...
-i want either a eg or a R32 or a silvia. whichever I find first.
...and homemadeturbo.com will see the wealth. once i get there, and get all settled in and ----....watch the classifides
from what ive been told by alot of people, "rare" jdm parts found in the U.S. are considered junk in Japan.
to give you an idea...
while stationed in japan, tommytoes(a user who never posts) bought his complete B16 swap, with lsd for $500 and the junkyard he got it from thought he was nuts for giving them that much $$ for the engine

I would imagine so. I couldn't see them being big into the whole "JDM" craze. If I lived in the land of 4-bangers than I would think American musclecars are badass
