20 over here is reckless driving which is bye bye license. As far as the faulty speedo trick, that's bs. They don't care why you were driving fast, the fact is you were and they want their change.

Get a lawyer. Since your record seems to be pretty clean, you can pay the lawyer to talk to the state and get a deal. Most of the time you end up paying a lot of money up front but get no points, but over 5 years you save a bunch of money as your insurance is going to go up $500-1000 a year for 5-6 years. It is always in your best interest to pay a bigger fine but get no points.

Driving a tow truck and living on an island is all I need, the cops don't ---- with you. Example: User name Schim187 works with me and was boosting on this open road in this area doing 65 in a 25. Cop pulls him over see's that its him a tow truck driver and turns around and walks away and "says neverming your good"
I would tell the judge you just got the truck and you didn't realize how fast you were going. In Rhode Island they have a good driver statue, which is if you are ticket free for 3 years you can use the good driver statue and only pay court costs. Good luck :1

Just go to traffic school. Alot of states have it to where you can do it online and it gets the ticket erased from your record.

NY doesn't have a traffic school for the dmv, only for insurance purposes. On another note those tires do look over sized which ***** up the speedo. The only other speeding ticket i got was for 95 in my siss rsx s on the way to the hamptons one night, didn't say a word. Pulled the dash fuse burnt it out, brought the ---- to the dealer and had them right up a warranty repair. At court they looked at the ticket and the receipt the da looks at me goes yeah ok you had no idea you were going double the speed limit, i'm like no the car is really smooth. She dropped it to a failure to yield. Which is waaayyyy better. That was years ago when i actually cared about these *********** at the dmv. I just stopped going to court... ---- them, register the car in a corp name and just obey the traffic laws... i havn't had a legit license since sept of 2005.
