Solid mounts must really really suck. I have urathane inserts and my car shakes enough at idle. lol

With my urathane inserts, the motor barely moves, what's the advantage of solid mounts over urathane?

 

That extra % of solidness. Plus washers and bolts are cheap

 

well i had the bright idea to box in the stock mounts because the window weld would start falling apart after a few months and for some reason buying a set of urethane mounts is just not the HMT way. they work great, but they do cause loss of hearing

Ditto. I have a huge cam in it and it does bounce from 500 to 1100 rpms at an idle.
