This thread is the extent of what I've heard about it. I can't see any negative effects of it other than my people are going to start selling thier camaros. :1 Maybe ford will get a boost from them, and the whole world will be one big fuckfest.

Not gonna happen if you read the story with the alliance of all three automakers "could put the GM chief executive out of a job" (reported from the detroit free press) and considering he owns 9.9% of gm he has a large say in what and what not the company will pursue in order to make a turn around in the already deeping hole they have been falling in for a while now. It could have some advantages like helping gm cut costs and boost the price of their stocks aswell as pooling their resources. But considering the amount of resources gm has currently it looks like the advantages would be few if any and in the result that they create an alliance it could result in little if any change in their turn around.
