Default Gimme Yer Opinion

im supposed to be trading my integra with this kid. hes got a 92 civic ferio ex. (4 door) ill start with what my car has done to it. b18a, garrnt t3, custom coach front mount, all mandrel piping, 450s and ghettodyne with a new tranny and exedy clutch. his car is a 92 ex. AEM short ram, custom exhaust to an apexi muffler, tokico shocks, and some no name springs. the body is a little rough, but get this, its got a fresh LS/VTEC motor in it. 99 si head with a 95 LS bottom. its FAST even with the vx ecu (3200 rpm vtec, gay). my car needs paint, but is otherwise pretty clean. his car needs a little more. there is a crack around the strut tower on the passenger side of the car.its at the bottom right above the motor mount. it can be welded, but i dunno how much this will cost me (though he said he would pay for it, or if he couldnt get it done he would give me $200 and i would fix it) what should i do? it seems that my car has been on its last legs lately and i dont wanna have to deal with fixing it. ive wanted a 4 door for a looooong time and this one looks like the best one i can get. tell me what u guys would do. thanks alot.

i would keep the teg and save up for a grocery getter, there's no way the ferio is worth what your car is even with the headaches, if i were near you, i would go buy a four door and trade you for the teg

depending on how the ls/vtec was built i would proberly trade. The older teg bodies (91-93)are heavy as hell and slow...

where did you weigh it? I weighed mine at bandimere when i raced last and i was at a ------- 2800 PDS W/O me in the damn car. My damn del Sol was lighter by 500 PDS with me in it.

that was also weighed with the entire rear end stripped out (no seats, no carpeting, etc)

if its a stock lower end, then surely that car will blow before yours does brett. havent we learned anything?? 4 doors equals gay.. oh well ---- it oyu could do lambo doors on the front and suicide the rears and but powered by CUANDO ON THE SIDE OF IT... SOUNDS LIKE THERES MORE LOOT INTO YOUR RIDE. this guy prob smoked it.. vx ecu, starved it for fuel son. 1.5 vtec e ----.

you guys have dont understand. EVERYTHING has gone wrong with my integra. from the clutch, to the tranny, to the hood and windsheild. this thing needs to go. its like 5 diff shades of white, andit feels like the motor is starting to give. i cannot afford to put any more money into this car. i cant even beat on it. it really feels like the tranny is about to give out, im not kidding. i need to get rid of this car NOW. josh, im sorry i think it has to go. and yeah the bottom is stock, and its only been run on the vx ecu for like 15 miles, he stuck that ecu in it so it would run, cause he sold the p72. and dont tell me it will blow up, i know alot of LS/Vtec motors that run fine for years. this motor is strong, and i want to do something diff with the 4 door. i want to be able to drive my friends in the car, i want my girlfriend and i to be able to take it on road trips, i want a car that i dont have to get under every day and make sure nothing is leaking or broken. i think this is that car, and i found someone to weld the strut tower, so im pretty sure the teg is going away. its time to take a small step back. i have school to pay for, and im hoping that pretty soon (like this coming summer) my girl and i can move in together. we'll see what happens, nothing is set in stone as of now.
