I dont know how I am going to generate money for this site. I have tons of ideas, but none of them seem worthwhile. Stickers, and t-shirts are probably the first things that I will sell. I would love to offer adapter plates, but its not worth my time to make 5-10 on each plate, and running back and forth to UPS everyday. Still looking for a good source on that. I have also considered making "Starter Turbo Kits" coming with the little things like oil/coolant lines/gaskets or whatever.

CWI is my host,

Unlimited bandwith eh? sounds to good to be true...

Personally I dont think you will do well with T-Shirts. They will cost you about $5-7 a piece to make and then you have to have all sorts of colors and sizes in stock to be able to fulfill orders, which equals a LOT of $$$ to get started. Most people dont want to spend more than about $10 on a shirt if it is on the Web. It is a real pain in the ***. I own several e-commerce sites that sell all kinds of stuff. I spend the first half of my day fulfilling orders and at the post office.

At least with stickers you can drop them in a little envelope and sitck em in the mailbox, plus the profit would be a higher margin.

My $.02

jesus christ, that text made my eyes water badly..

Ya, I dont know, I would like to do t-shirts, but maybe not. I was thinking about doing something similar to how honda-tech does them... I dont even get involved in the shipping or any of that. The company has all the stuff ready to go. You just give them a logo.

H

I have around 10 sites hosted with PHPWebHosting.com

I have had no problems with them. The support is a little slow, but I usually dont have many questions for them. Well worth $9.95 a month.
