Getting rid of tires

So we are having a ------ winter up in the NE...wasting my ------- snow tires.
Anyways, I have to get rid of 1 pair of rubbers on my steelies (old summer ish) so that I can slap on some sticky ---- (rt215's?) for traction. If I do burnouts with the fuckers on until one of them pops, am I going to ---- something up? That seems to be the most effiecent way to get rid of one of the rubbers. + smoking them from every light. :P

I used to have a car that could do standing 4th gear burnouts. The turbo screamed, the front of the car was engulfed in a literal mushroom cloud of smoke - I shut down a larger intersection in town doing that once, during rush hour, no one could see the traffic lights to know what to do. It took about 45 seconds to shear off half the tread on a new tire, leaving generous double handfuls of shredded rubber a foot or so behind each wheel.

I dunno, because it's fun?

I bet you're the kind of guy who doesn't like the dragstrip because of tiresmoke. That, and the noise and smell of racegas gives you a headache. :(

Oh. Well.

I don't smoke weed, and my car was a shitbox that I didn't care about.

Re: Getting rid of tires

No, seriously, I paid $500 for it, and felt like that was too much. Given how the suspension/frame was straight and not wreck damaged, and the car hadn't been owned previously by a riceboy so that it was cobbled up on and ruined, I guess it was better than some people get for $500... but it was obviously a $375 car when I bought it, I just needed something *right then*

Re: Getting rid of tires

theres always the chance of a freak accident happening. but if you can get it smoking without jerking the car to pieces your good. im probilby going to do the same to my tires once i get my car back on the road. by the way i do burnouts and love the smell. well after i stop coughing that is.
