getting money from the town...
Has anyone done this successfully? I'm talking about damages from potholes. How do you go about it?
Is it thru insurance, or do I just specifically go to the town hall with an invoice, and provide documentation of the hole via pictures and measurements? If anyone else has actually done this, help would be appreciated. |

yea I always hear people saying that theyll pay for it, but i just didnt know how to go about it.
I just put in a hit and run on my car when i got hit at school, and i dont want to have to file claim # 2 within a few days. I think theyll call me liar and I hate insurance companies anyway. |

Re: getting money from the town...
A long time ago I drove through wet paint on the road. I called up the court house, they sent me to the state treasury department, they sent me papers to fill out. Got 3 bids on the job, sent them the paper work back, they send you a check.
They will require proof of what happend, so pictures are needed, location of the incident, etc.. and they might send someone out to look at it, if its lots of damage. |
Re: getting money from the town...
