Getting Married On Friday at 3:00pm
Still really hasnt hit me yet. After months of trying to please everyone else and dishing out about $4000 of my own money, me and the misses are finally doing it. Im gonna try to get my buddies digi for the bachelor party which will be Wed. night. i just want to go to Vegas. Staying at the Newyork, Newyork for 6 days. cant wait.

yea no ----. Im 29 have been with my girl since 1999. we own our house have two cars and thrid if you count the crx :-\ which has yet to run. we have a boat, dog, cat and some fish(jack dempseys). Ive been cooking my whole life and have been a chef for about 8years. i won the vegas trip from Sysco for my company and they gave it to me to use for my honey moon which is good cuz im broke. im getting married in a catholic church and we rented one of my old restaurants out for the evening. the cake is being made by and old bakery i used to work at.

NYNY is a cool hotel, however the annoying rollercoaster at 11am really started to piss me off
congrats on the "bond of marriage" I guess you got a 50/50 chance since divorce rates are higher than ever before ;) |

yea well flowers at $700, dress for $700, limo $200, reception $3720, photo $680 and all sorts of little ---- add up. but at the end of the day at least i can say that we paid for it all ourselves and dont owe anyone.., and of course thats why i shipped out my block and head to be finished because after all the ---- i have gone thru in the last three months with this wedding she owes me something.

Congrates man. I'm 8 months and counting. 4000 Grand hey. Must be nice. I've EASILY already spent that!!!! Still need flowers, tuxes and such. Huge family though!!!

My wedding cost me about $400, dinner and everything. we got married at the beach, had our 2 best friends there as witnesses, then went to hard rock cafe for dinner after it was done. My wife just said it was $385 for everything that night.
Been married 3 years...and yes, im only 23. :o |

Prenup. ;) Don't follow the mistakes of every man who has ever been married before. Make her signa prenuptual agreement. Do you know how many people have kicked themselves in the ass for not doing it? Don't give me that bullshit about "She is the one" and "I'll be with her forever"......because the divorce rate is far too high in the world we live in today. What was that saying women are always using......"Why is the divorce rate so high?......because it's worth it.". :-\

but seriously i wish the best of luck to you and the misses. One day I will find the one.... maybe. :-\ Oh and 4k ain't much at all. Friend of mine that just recently had a wedding, the pics alone were like 2k or something like that and the whole wedding was like 15+k and it wasn't even fancy. But it sounds like you have some ole friend hookups, sounds like it'll be a nice, ---- when you said rent out a resturant, I was already like :o. Hope you do get a digi cam, cause even though I don't know you personally, hmt is a family and I'm sure we all would like to see some pics. :) |

Damn, around here just the reception (Food/booze) is 20k + everything else. Most people spend 40-50k for wedding.

man my wife is easy, we were going to do a big wedding, she decided that was way too much effort, so instead had small family over, married at the courthouse, my Dad popped for supper at a nice resteraunt on the St. Lawrence river. That was 9 years two kids, a dog and a cat, and 2 civic's, 1 86 gt stang, 1 84 t-top trans am, a 1978 trans am, and a bunch of assorted daily driver junk since...marrage aint so bad....

Congrats, hope everything goes well for you. I've been married 2 years in August. $4000 spent is really good. I spent $8000 for my wedding and it was just a small one. :-\
