Re: gettin busy twin turbo 5.0 foxbody *update*
got both turbos mounted.
need to tap the pan for oil returns. and also make the feed lines and get a block fitting for them. should be easy, except i have to tap the pan while its in the car. because you cant take the pans out of foxbodies with the engine in the car because the front crossmember and sway bar are in the way. vortech says its safe to punch a hole in the pan, then grease the ---- out of a tap, and thread a fitting in, then change the oil! i hope its safe haha :/
also, charge piping = nightmare hehe.
waiting for bov and intercoolers still
i'll post a couple pics in a min, eating and watchin the simpsons

Re: gettin busy twin turbo 5.0 foxbody *update* x2
still gotta cut the exhaust housing on the drivers side turbo, similar to the passenger so i can weld a pipe on it, open downpipes own... lol
the driver's side turbo exhaust housing also has to be clocked, but its heat seized, so im going to take it to a metal shop and have them heat it up for me and loosen the bolts. i dont want to risk breaking one off at home.
yes the welds are shitty, but i have the $99 habor frieght welder, and everyone knows the feed is in and out. it doesnt feed smooth so its hard to keep a bead.
