get sandblasted (this is for the newbs)

i got a used t3 and of course it was all rusted and dirty and looked like ass, so while i was waiting for the rest of my parts i figured i would get it sand blasted. good idea! that mother fucker looks brand new, i was very surprised! i would suggest that if you care about looks at all to do this to your used turbo, you will be glad!

no, i'll get some pics., i wish i took some before also so you could see the difference. it was free because a freind did it, but i don't think it would cost much, you can buy a sandblasting machine for under 100 bucks. i'll be doing my install soon (next week), hopefully jeff will feature it, so i'll show good pics of the turbo to see how clean it is.

It can't be too much. Someone would probably do it for free if you found the right place. Like where I work, we sandblast all the time so I could do my own parts and no one would care. SO if you feel like paying for shipping I could probably do it for nothing.

yeah you can buy a sandblasting machine for cheap maybe, but you have to buy a $600 air compressor to run it... lol

no you dont...i got a 145 dollar air compressor with a 10 gallon tank and mine goes up to like 250 psi and that son of a bitch will drive anything....the only thing about smaller air compressors is since they have smaller tanks...they turn on and off alot to recharge the tanks with more air....
