It's kind of freaking me out about going.

BTW, I asked about having a major in religious studies, they don't offer it. Nor do they offer any religious studies other than Christian based. I have to take 9 credits of classes under the category of "Bible" before I graduate too, btw.

Majoring in psychology, if I don't like it this semester I'll just go to one of the 6 or so universities around here. I want degrees in psychology AND theology/religious studies so I am going to have to go to another school at some point.

no offense or anything but why even go? hardcore religious parents or someting? it seems like a waste if you have to change schools and your really missing out on half the college education worth having.

for real...being a christian myself, i dont even agree with those regulations. IIRC we were given free choice, and as adults its your ass for what ever you decide to do-maraly, ppl cant / shouldnt choose for you/live your life for you. ---- that.

Traditional psychology, or some bible-thumping bullshit? Honest question here... I bet you'll find God's name throughout your studies :l religion + mental science = ftl

Sounds like a cult. Why the hell would you try to do anything in life living under such bullshit rules? I can see you trying to get a job and the employer laughing at your gay ass. "haha, he's one of those religious quacks."

Go to a regular school, live your damn life, and when you need get into the gates, bring a fucken bulldozer with you.

I never knew there was Bible based psychology? lol I know theres Christian psychologists out there but I'm just majoring in regular psychology. I know I'm going to, they say at the school they try to integrate a lot of the classes in with Christianity... I figure science classes should be easy. Why do the cells of the common tulip have a cell membrane? Because God made it that way. I figure I could get by in the class by answering that way most of the time lol :P

As I said before though I'm giving it one semester. If it's too restricting it's a toss up between penn state & slippery rock u.

Dude, I went to a 'Catholic' college at one point. And the rules they have, and the rules they actually enforce can be worlds apart. Best bet is to talk to some people that actually go there and see what you're getting yourself into, it may not be too bad.

just know that the roman catholic church withheld books from the bible. apparently they only wanted us to see a certain perspective of events that are alleged to have happened.
