You know what I mean. Yes less weight is better, I don't deny it, but these people are not doing it to race or dailiy drive the car, and seriuosly I rather spend 10,000 in engine parts to make the car faster as it is.


When the car came out, most of the buyers where guys that knew about the WRC heritage and appreciated the car for it's history and power. Now there's too many kids buying them and thinking they are the ----, because the car is turbo. When it's not really that fast from the factory. But hey it happens to all the cars, you can't prevent it.

Exactly. And even at that, I saw a Honda Tuner article on a 2003 Civic Si who got a CF hatch, and guess what? It was actually heavier than the original! I've also seen CF sunroof plugs. Pretty soon people will be running around with a car made entirely out of CF, jeez o man..

lol, people have been driving around in cars made entirely out of carbon fiber since like the early 90s, 100 or so people in fact, and what do they share in comon? they are the proud owners of the Mclaren F1. Sure if I were rich I'd have all the carbon fiber goodies, painted ofcourse, but well I'm still poor, I think fiberglass will do me good.

Carbon fiber is pretty awesome, i just hate all the "carbon fiber look" stuff thats all fake
