I think the regular HF getts better mileage than this thing. :-*

Conversion Cost: ~$11,000 all the hardware + $6.700 donor vehicle wtf ???

that is awesome. im sure if a company did it they could use alittle better materials. for more effiancy better areo dynamics, lighter batterys and so on.

must've come with a fully built type-r motor with 50k miles on it

otherwise, they got ripped the ---- off, even if it only had 100k miles on the chassis

it was last updated over 4 years ago so Im sure they did the build in the late 90's some what better explains the cost of the car still hight though

Stock HF gets better mileage than that thing... better than the Civic Hybrid, too.

My std 4 spd hatch use to get around 48 mpg back in its stock form days hf's shoudl be in the low 50's

If he did it to challenge himself and for the fun of it then cool. If he did it to save $$ on gas then hes stupid cause the cost of the project is more than he would of spent on gas for years to come.

he probebly did it to prove to people that it could be done and electric cars can be practicle. if people keep doing things or a company picks it up, develops it to be more efficent and practicle. then maybe he would feel better about himself for being the nerdyest hippy ever. :P

and think, in California he would fail smog. Visually, and for not meeting the minimum emissions output. :P

Electric isnt practicle.. or cheap.. batteries have a lifespan and are problamtic to dispose of.. fuel cell is where its at..
