Yeah, thery were aimed perfectly at each other.

Update, the piece of ---- doesn't want to work today. It seems like at night time it works perfect, daytime it doesn't work for ----. Everytime I go to use it at night time, it works fine. Everytime the GF goes to use it in the morning or daytime it doesn't work. WTF??

Ok here is the deal. The button on the wall works it perfectly fine, all day and all night long. As soon as you hit one of the remote buttons all hell breaks loose and it goes crazy. After that even the button on the wall won't work right. It will just move a tiny bit, then stop and go back the other direction a bit, then stop. WTF would cause something like that??

Symptoms change with temperature - suspect bad electrical connections. Especially cracked solder joints. Look at any circuit board, top and bottom, under good lighting + with a magnifying glass unless your eyes are top notch. Might just need to be reflowed, right?

Well now I'm thinking it has nothign to do with day and night. It has to do with the remotes. I can use the button on the wall at any time and it will work fine until I hit the button on one of the remotes. Then it stops working and even the button on the wall won't work. Unplug, plug back in and the button on the wall works fine until you hit the remote button again.

You need to make sure the main button is not sticking at all. I had this same problem a few weeks ago. Main button kept getting stuck and causing the same issues.

The main unit shouldn't spaz out if the remote is sending garbage. It might be in the circuitry that handles the reciever and feeds it to the micro, though. Same problem as you are thinking of but it occurs on the main unit side of things.

I unhooked the button. Remotes still ---- it up.

I dunno, but this thing is going in the trash. It's too fucked up and I can't handle not knowing if my garage door is going to open for me or not.

Tried that. Held the button for 10 seconds. Reprogrammed one remote, same ----. Deleted that remote, reprogrammed the other remote, same ----. This thing is just fucked. Time to cut my losses.

Take it to the McDonald's drive through and attempt to trade it for cheeseburgers.
