gah i hate header gaskets
 
gahhhh i hate header gaskets and their leaky tendencies.

my car sounds like a bike with a baseball card in the wheel.

nothing a little jb weld couldn't mask : P. Maybe your header's flange is warped?

I KNOW WHAT YOU mean!!!
mine leaks where they join 4-2 part
couldn't describe it better than with your analogy
i jb welded it, i made a gasket, i hi temp gasket makered it...nothing lasts very long other then a proper gasket

well i was speakin of small block header gaskets... as they're very very well known to leak all the time!!! bah

just got to put another gasket on there

pfft exhaust leak are proven to give 20+ hp : P if it isn't turbo does it really matter if the exhause leaks? : )

Take stock manifold gaskets, not header gaskets, double them up and put them in shinny sides out. tighten them up, heat it up tighten again, do this a couple times and I garonteeeee no more leaks, I do it at my shop all the time ;)

sounds shitty but it works great, even with cheap/week headers. I use felpro ones but I am sure others would work
