yeah i know what you mean, they say the run flats run for a while but a friend with a mini cooper has them and he drove 20 miles and they were shot to ----. Im not really impressed... there has to be better ideas than that, itll only buy you 1% more fuel economy... which doesnt mean much to me but id think if you were gonna do somthing cool and new, youd make it have huge plusses. Just that it wont go flat isnt a huge "gotta have it" factor

we have solid rubber tires on our front end loaders at work. You need a basic flat rim and just melt the tire to it...

its like a big roll of electrical tape all melted together.

Not sure how they would hold up going 150mph, but @ 20mph on a 50,000lb machine they work great.
