Re: The future of engine management
We used to Exclusivly use Hydra Nemesis systems at the shop i used to work at, people would always be coming in to get trained and ---- from out of state.
we used it with really good results on like 5-6 cars but if remember its like $2500+ |
Re: The future of engine management
The last time I used it most of the basic serial connection glitches that shouldn't have existed in a product that had been on the market for years had been resolved. It's still a very poor user interface, has no extra logging inputs, poor datalogging in general, and tries to force you into running the onboard wideband which is of unknown quality/reliability. I'd rather use something else.

Re: The future of engine management
I like the idea of adapting the honda odb1 as it seems that that is a tried and ture solution. Its cheap, simple, and there are a ---- ton of gurus out there to show some of us engine management noobs how to master it. I like the idea that a robust ecm that is in huge supply is just a few hundred bucks away. If I new how to run it on my lexus I would do it in a heart beat.
I wonder if there is a honda V6 ecm that is chipable out there??? ;) |
