so there you have it, with a diff ratio like the one in my ute, you cant expect the scarlet car to have economy to match something geared like that...
random, you should watch the episode of topgear with the vette in it. they gulp choke, like it. he starts it on a runway from a stop in 5th and does some enormous speed by the braking point at the end. and it laps right up there with some of the fastest cars out there. but not the top, its 14th fastest through twistys. it is also as they point out, plasticy and cheap in every other department. they introduced it by saying that corvettes were like a boy band, and that the new one was robbie williams and was leaving the band! lol. i tell you, its a comedy. and a good one.

thos arnt the best but decent, but they dont use the good motors anymore( 289,351w ect.) but they do need to fine tune the 5.0 there gettin better with it

i looked it up, the ford engine to which i refer may be an ozzy special, or it may be international. not sure. either way, its 5.4l
failed to find any pics of it worth looking at...

its the 5.4l v8 down the way, and makes 290kw NA comes in the cobra R from 2000 up, or something like that.
as with almost all 4 valve designs, its got a broader power band than a 2 valve engine of the same displacement.
