funniest thing i ever heard a some kid say, was when i was at a auto show, and a kid point to the engine of a rx7 and said "look it has tri turbo" i just stared at the fucken kid, and asked him if he even knew what a turbo did, his awnser, "it makes the car go faster".

I work with some funny people. I hear all kinds of BS on a regular basis. lol
One of my favorite conversations:
him: My buddy has one of those old cars (referring to my 1990 Civic) with a Prelude motor in it. It's pretty ------- bad ***.
me: Oh really? An H22 huh? What tranny did he use? That's not an easy swap.
him: The stock tranny.
me:
stock tranny? Like from the stock motor that came in the Civic?
him: Yup.
me: So he has one of the rare H2D conversion kits? Didn't it take a lot of fabrication to get in there? The H2D kits place the motor right into the shock tower.
him: Yeah, well, he's quite the fabricator, it was easy for him. He didn't use a kit, he just swapped the bell housings out and dropped the motor in.
me:
sweet dude. Sounds like a killer setup.
I decided to end the conversation after the whole "bell housing swap" comment. lol

Kinda like some guys that were looking at my car at a local car show...
one guy said... "you know.. i know of a kid that took the line off his wastegate on the stock turbo and made 400+ ft lbs of torque"... (referring to the pathetically small turbo that comes in a stock srt4)...
