There's different markets for everything. There actually is a market who doesn't care how much it costs, they just want to know they have the absolute best there is, and that's what they get.

There's also a big market in So. Cal for hand car washes. Go figure, everyone has a hose and bucket at home.

You hear me knockin'? 8)

Quit your bitching.

Look at the site once, gawk at the prices, and click "X" and never go back.

Re: full race

If I had a ---- ton of money to spend on a race project (that doesnt seem like a DD "kit" to me) i would spend 6000 on a set-up like that.

im serious. but I dont have 6000 to spend on a turbo kit.

Re: full race

I would honestly think the words "Pro-Am" would kinda give away the fact that it's not meant as a daily-driver kit. I've dealt with hardcore race nuts before with Can-am and Trans-am classes at the speed shop that i used to work at, and like Stealthmode said...those are usually the people that want to have the best of the best no matter what the cost.

There are some who do it though...mostly older, very rich guys i would imagine lol. Hell, we used to have one guy that was almost 52 years old and drove a brand new porsche 911TT that had us build his 95 GSR trackslut. All said and done, car stayed N/A and probably cost him close to 40k in the end. Is it worth it, i still say hell no.

SkunT 01-22-2006 04:22 AM

Re: full race

go check out honda-tech and the FI section. there are people who dump 5 or 6 grand in a bottom end let alone the turbo kit.

Re: full race

come out to CT where kids who are 20 years old have 2 supra's with over 600 hp, a brand new zo6, a couple quads, and a street bike..
rich kids dude.. i hate um and there are plenty of them out here.

thats just what it takes to own full hype. even if i did have that kind of money, i would still be running a HMT kit beoootch.. and you know this mannn!

ososlohatch 01-22-2006 04:57 AM

Re: full race

You meant to say, that's what they think they get. Full-Race is not the pinnacle of acheivement, there is a lot of work that needs to be done that they don't do.

I hear Full-Race is making split turbine manifolds... hehe. I'mma have to rub that in, ask Geoff if he stole the idea from me, or Bucchi, and how one of us needs to sue for copyright infringement.

i have to agree, those full race prices are for people who don't know any better and think just cause something's a rip off that it's gotta be the best.
